J's parents-in-law were visiting their home in Washington, DC. Her dad also traveled all the way from China to assist in welcoming their second baby. It was a perfect time for this family portrait to happen, documenting a big family filled with love and warmth.
The session began at the National Botanical Garden. I am delighted that we managed to discover some lovely spots, avoiding the crowds, with beautiful backdrops of both nature and DC's signature building - Capitol Hill. The serene surroundings provided an ideal setting to capture the genuine joy and connection within the family, making the portrait session truly memorable.
